【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC11579specifiesareferenceconfiguration(RC)fortheextensionlineofaprivateintegratedservicesnetworkexchange(PINX)includinghighlevelfunctionsinadditiontothephysicalterminationsystemspecifiedinpart1ofISO/IEC11579.Sincesuchhighlevelfunctionsappearapplicationdependentandcanoccur,inprinciple,inanymultiplicityandcombination,nofirmallocationoffunctionalgroupingsandthusnofirmreferencepointscanbeindicated.Instead,theprinciplesforcombiningfunctionalgroupingsassociatedwiththephysicalterminationsystemandallocatingreferencepointsarespecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC11579.ExamplesforsomecombinationsoffunctionalgroupingsandtheallocationofreferencepointsaregiveninannexA.TheprincipleisnotintendedtorequireanyspecificimplementationofaPINX,butonlytoprovideguidanceforthespecificationofPINXcapabilities.TheprincipleissufficienttosupportISDN-likeapplications.Itcanbeextendedtoalsosupportnon-ISDN-likeapplications.
