【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesonemeasureoftensilepropertiesofbituminousmaterialsandmaybeusedtomeasureductilityforspecificationrequirements.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheprocedurefordeterminingtheductilityofabituminousmaterialmeasuredbythedistancetowhichitwillelongatebeforebreakingwhentwoendsofabriquetspecimenofthematerial,oftheformdescribedinSection4,arepulledapartataspecifiedspeedandataspecifiedtemperature.Unlessotherwisespecified,thetestshallbemadeatatemperatureof25x00B1;0.5x00B0;Candwithaspeedof5cm/minx00B1;5.0%.Atothertemperaturesthespeedshouldbespecified.1.2Becauseofthelargenumberofmethodsforobtainingtestsamples,itisimpracticaltodiscussspecificproductsinthistestmethod.Refertoindividualproductspecificationsforguidanceinobtainingatestsample.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Valuesinparenthesisininch-poundunitsareprovidedforinformationalpurposesonly.1.4Warningx2014;MercuryhasbeendesignatedbyEPAandmanystateagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidneyandliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercurycontainingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPAx2019;swebsite(http://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htm)foradditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryormercurycontainingproducts,orboth,inyourstatemaybeprohibitedbystatelaw.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
